Bits & Bots | Kong Heng Square, Ipoh

I visited with my colleagues after our team building before going back to KL. They were thinking to find a place for nice coffee and coincidentally we found this small little shop in Kong Heng Square, directly opposite Plan B. The shop displays a bunch of of unique and antique collection of rims, books, toys, and many more outside and inside the stall.

While observing the antiques, we spotted their menu board which is selling ice ball. With our curiosity, we ordered the ice balls. I was told that during their younger time, they used to have ice ball. I never see or hear before in my generation, I guess the trend change during my time.

I ordered this rosella ice ball. Lychee was hidden in the middle of the ice ball. 

How to eat? 

Hold the ice ball and suck every single side until it become white ice. It was tiring but it is fun especially when the ice is melting, water start flowing down super fast to your hand and feet.

Or you can use a straw and slowly suck the juice out of it. If you are able to hold the freezing sensation, bite and eat it!
