Do you have the post-vacation blues after your long holiday like I do? What I do is I will start planning for my next trip, starting looking for cheap flight and hotels. Today, let me bring you to a place that you can have an enjoyable short vacation in Malaysia surrounded by rain forest and white sandy beach.
I would like to introduce you to a place that I visited recently with my team for team building in Langkawi. We stayed in a beach resort called The Andaman, on the shores of the Andaman Sea. Let me show you the place and hotel room before you pay a visit there.
Services from the resort staff were splendid. They attended to my requests nicely and fast.

I stayed in the 43-square-metre Deluxe Room, a step-out balcony with views of the lush tropical rainforest. It is quite a pleasant room, overseeing the beach and rainforest.

The room also came with a coffee maker, however there isn't any instructions on using the coffee maker. My colleague and I tried a few times to operate the coffee maker but failed. We just gave up in the end.

Here is the view from the balcony. Love the view though it is not directly facing the sea but the greenery of the place is where we can't find in the city we live in now.
Other than the sea, there is a big swimming pool at the resort. You can swim and enjoy your whole day there.

If you are looking for a short vacation or honeymoon in Malaysia, I would recommend this place. The Andaman resort is quite far from the Langkawi town, it takes around 30-40 minutes to reach town. It is however a good place for a short getaway, especially if you are looking for a place to stay away from the noise and the busy city. This is a good place to rest and relax as the place is not crowded with lots of guests, it is really quiet and peaceful.
However, if you are opting for shopping in Langkawi, I wouldn't recommend this place as it is too far from town or any eateries.
